Staying at SouthFork
At Southfork Lodge, we believe where you stay should be just as memorable as the adventure itself. Tucked deep in the heart of the Boise National Forest, our accommodations offer a range of experiences for every kind of guest—from cozy comfort to rustic immersion.

Choose from our ridge-top one- and two-bedroom cabins, where forest views meet lodge-style charm. Stay steps from the water in our Payette Flats, a row of modern, riverside rooms that let the sound of the river lull you to sleep. For those seeking a touch of wilderness with a hint of luxury, our wall tent glamping offers the best of both worlds. And for the purists, we offer primitive meadow camping under a sky full of stars.
Whether you're here for a weekend getaway, a family adventure, or a fireside reset, there’s a place for you at Southfork.

The River Table: Fish of Idaho: Long Table Experience
Lowman Days | Sunday, September 6th, 2026
As the weekend begins to slow and the river season nears its close, The River Table brings guests together for one final long-table experience inspired by the waters, forests, and flavors of Idaho. Set beneath the open sky just beyond the lodge, this intimate dinner is designed around simplicity, presentation, and the shared experience of gathering around a single table.

Prepared by a featured guest chef, the evening highlights fresh Idaho river fish as the centerpiece of the meal, thoughtfully prepared over fire and served family-style alongside seasonal mountain-inspired dishes. The menu begins with small bites and passed appetizers that reflect the region—light, fresh, and rooted in the outdoors—followed by a crisp mountain salad, a warm and comforting seasonal soup, and a curated spread built to complement the river’s catch. Every course is meant to feel connected to the landscape, the water, and the pace of the weekend itself.

Like the river, the evening is meant to move slowly. Guests settle in at one long communal table, sharing food, stories, and the final moments of Lowman Days together. Seating is intentionally limited and reservations are required in advance.
