SouthFork Lowman Days | September 4th-7th 2026
Life happens at the lodge | This is Lodge Life™
Blast from the past, Labor Day weekend at SouthFork Lodge has been a gathering place for the Lowman community and travelers passing through the Boise National Forest. Dating back to the 1950s and lasting decades, the original Lowman Days were known for long weekends filled with live music, food, laughter, and people coming together in the mountains at the edge of the Payette River. What began as a simple mountain-town tradition has inspired a new vision for the future of SouthFork Lodge.

Today, Lowman Days returns as a four-day celebration of Idaho’s outdoors, culture, food, and community. Set in the heart of the Boise National Forest, the weekend brings together live music, storytelling, educational talks, culinary demonstrations, outdoor recreation, family activities, and unforgettable meals shared around the fire. From fly fishing and rafting conversations to Dutch oven cooking, backcountry education, long-table dinners, field games, and nightly headliners, Lowman Days is designed to feel authentic, grounded, and deeply connected to the land and people that make this region special.
Whether you come for the music, the food, the river, or simply to slow down and reconnect, Lowman Days is built to bring people together in a way that feels timeless and uniquely Idaho.

Sunday, Sept 6th – River & Community Day
