E-Mountain Bike Rentals: Climb Higher, Go Farther

The Climb Just Got Easier. The Adventure Just Got Bigger.

SouthFork Lodge is proud to partner with Kona Bikes to bring high-performance electric mountain bikes to the edge of the wild. These aren’t beach cruisers. These are rugged, top-tier machines built to handle steep climbs, rocky switchbacks, and forest trails that don’t always show up on maps.

We get it—mountain biking in the Boise National Forest isn’t for the faint of quads. The terrain is vast, the climbs are real, and the miles can add up fast. That’s why we’ve brought in e-mountain bikes—to give you the power to push farther and the boost to turn every uphill into a downhill kind of feeling.

Why Go E-Mountain?

  • Conquer Tough Trails: Take on challenging terrain with added torque and confidence.

  • Explore Deeper: Access remote areas you might never reach on foot.

  • Ride Longer: See more in a single outing without burning out.

  • Choose Your Path: Tackle out-and-back adventures or get dropped off deep in the forest and ride your way home.

Ride the Ridge, Drop to the River, Find the Fire Lookouts

We offer transport services to drop you and your bike at one of the many national forest access points—letting you ride from mountaintop to lodge, trailhead to river, or just far enough to make your dinner at The Fork feel well-earned.

Whether you’re looking to test your limits or just take in more of the scenery, e-mountain bikes open up the forest in a whole new way.

Let us know if you want to pack a lunch, hit a hidden hot spring, or just chase the sun down the ridge.
