Pulaski - at SouthFork - OPENING SOON
"For those who carry the weight of the forest and those who raise a glass in their honor."
Tucked just beneath the main lodge and out of the elements, Pulaski is SouthFork’s coziest corner—a space built for reflection, reconnection, and the kind of moments that linger long after the trip ends.

Named for the Pulaski axe—a timeless tool carried by every wildland firefighter—this room is a tribute to resilience, quiet strength, and those who’ve spent their lives protecting the forest. With the feel of a ranger’s cabin, Pulaski blends hand-hewn beams, worn leather chairs, vintage maps, and forest service touches into a space that feels both timeless and deeply personal.

It’s not a bar or a lounge—it’s something more grounded. A space where grandparents teach card games, where cousins swap trail stories, where multi-generational groups find a home base between river runs and ridgeline hikes.

We’re proud to introduce Chef Oscar Montoya, who brings over 30 years of culinary experience from national parks, five-star kitchens, and his own renowned restaurants. With deep respect for the mountains, seasons, and ingredients, Chef Oscar is reimagining lodge cuisine—drawing from his global background while staying true to Idaho’s rugged roots.

There’s no TV here. No digital distractions. Just a warm fire, a few good books, and plenty of room to gather. Whether you’re planning a special event, hosting a family reunion, or simply looking for a place to pause between adventures, Pulaski welcomes you with open arms and a quiet kind of magic.

This is where stories are told, laughter echoes, and memories are made. Come in. Settle down. And stay awhile.
