Staying at SouthFork
At Southfork Lodge, we believe where you stay should be just as memorable as the adventure itself. Tucked deep in the heart of the Boise National Forest, our accommodations offer a range of experiences for every kind of guest—from cozy comfort to rustic immersion.
Choose from our ridge-top one- and two-bedroom cabins, where forest views meet lodge-style charm. Stay steps from the water in our Payette Flats, a row of modern, riverside rooms that let the sound of the river lull you to sleep. For those seeking a touch of wilderness with a hint of luxury, our wall tent glamping offers the best of both worlds. And for the purists, we offer primitive meadow camping under a sky full of stars.
Whether you're here for a weekend getaway, a family adventure, or a fireside reset, there’s a place for you at Southfork.
Meadows

The Ridge
Welcome to Trailhead Café—your first stop before the day’s adventure. Whether you're headed out to hike, fish, or just relax by the river, we’ve got fresh coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and grab-and-go bites to fuel your morning. Simple, satisfying, and ready when you are.

Payette Flats
Welcome to Timbers, the heart of dining at Southfork Lodge. Set inside our 1938 log lodge, Timbers offers a seasonal menu rooted in local ingredients and inspired by the land, the river, and the stories of the forest. Warm, welcoming, and crafted with care.

Welcome to The Fork, our open-air café along the banks of the Payette River. It’s the perfect spot for a laid-back lunch, an afternoon drink, or a quick bite between adventures. Casual, scenic, and just steps from the water.
Camping off the Property
Southfork Lodge can also outfit you with all the bear necessities (pun absolutely intended) to take your stay deeper into the forest. Through our Adventure Services, we offer fully equipped camping kits for rent—perfect for hikers who want to embrace the wilderness without hauling all the gear from home.
Each kit is designed for two, keeping the load balanced and the experience shared. You’ll receive two backpacks—one packed with camping essentials like your tent or hammock tent, sleeping pads, and gear; the other for your personal items, food, and sleeping bags. We even include bear spray, because safety is always in season. And for those who want to dine trailside, you can order a freshly prepared boxed meal straight from our kitchen.
