Tucked deep in the heart of the Boise National Forest, the SouthFork Supper Society is an exclusive culinary experience designed to bring great people together around unforgettable meals, meaningful conversation, and the magic of the mountain air.

Held on the third Thursday of each month, this monthly tradition transforms SouthFork Lodge into a haven of fine food, firelight, and forest hospitality. The lodge is reserved exclusively for guests of the Supper Society that evening, though overnight lodging is available, not required.

Each Supper Society gathering features a 5- to 7-course feast crafted by our own Chef Brian Rodgers, whose passion for bold flavors, rustic refinement, and storytelling through food will take center stage. Every course is paired with thoughtfully selected wines, presented in collaboration with regional vintners, artisans, and producers.

We begin the evening outdoors, with small bites and aperitifs around the fire, where you'll meet your fellow diners and catch glimpses of the team in motion—long aprons, cast iron, flames licking at the first course. As the night unfolds, you’ll be guided indoors through a multi-sensory journey of forest-inspired cuisine, wine education, and unforgettable flavors.

Meet the Chef

At the heart of the Supper Society is Chef Brian Rodgers—a craftsman, a storyteller, and a veteran of the kitchen in every sense of the word. From the galleys of the U.S. Navy to luxury hotels and fine dining rooms across the country, Chef Brian brings a rare blend of precision, creativity, and heart to every meal. His food reflects a lifetime of discipline and discovery—where rustic Idaho ingredients meet decades of culinary mastery.

You’ll find him behind the line, out by the fire pit, or tableside with a story that connects the dish to the land it came from. Each plate is crafted with intention and served with humility, honoring both the forest that surrounds us and the guests who gather here. To know Chef Brian is to know warmth, laughter, and a deep respect for the art of bringing people together through food. We are honored to have him leading the kitchen at SouthFork Lodge.

The lodge is closed to the public for this event to ensure an exclusive, immersive experience
Lodging is available but not required (rooms sold separately)

Reserve Your Seat at the Table

The SouthFork Supper Society will be held on the third Thursday of every month, starting August 21st. While overnight lodging is available, it’s not required to participate in the evening. We do ask that guests make reservations in advance, as each event is intimate and seating is limited.

Reservations can be made by calling the lodge directly or by emailing our team. Each month, we’ll post the number of available seats as the event fills—so don’t wait too long. This is a night you won’t want to miss.

Simply sending an email or leaving a voicemail does not immediately reserve your spot at the table. You will be contacted by one of our staff members to confirm your reservation and discuss any food allergies, party size, lodging needs if necessary, and details about the evening’s theme.
