Your historic Idaho adventure starts here. Located in a geothermally active region along the Highway 21 Ponderosa Pine Scenic Byway along the rolling waters of the South fork of the Payette River. You will find the Southfork Lodge bordered by the Wildlife Canyon Scenic Byway off the Banks-Lowman Hwy 2512A at that junction.
Year-round activities for the outdoor enthusiast or those seeking just a bit of respite with some rustic comfort gather here.
Guests choosing one of the Riverside Inn rooms will be staying in rooms with a cozy, rustic mountain lodge feel. Each guest room features queen-sized log beds. These rooms are TV-free to help preserve the river sounds and promote a peaceful surrounding. These rooms are all one-level and easily accessible. Drive up and unpack your vehicle and park just a short distance away! All rooms have river views, and easy walking paths with short distances to the lodge.

Our cabins have been updated and renovated in a rustic mountain lodge style. They feature gas fireplaces, hand-made log beds, and sitting areas.
Each cabin boasts a separate entrance and porch—perfect to sit and watch the elk come down to the meadow in the early mornings or early evenings.
Choose from two, one-bedroom cabins, or one, two-bedroom cabin.
Dine in the historic Southfork Lodge seated in log chairs at wooden tables. Gaze upwards at the antler shed lighting. You are surrounded by praise-worthy mounts and distinct artistry. The bay-style windows allow for year-round views of majestic mountains, the river, falling snow, and occasional wildlife sightings.
The outdoor patio is set on the river's edge below our whispering pines. Relax and enjoy your event with drinks and food in this majestic space. You can also use this space as a dance floor while breathing in the fresh air of the pines. Reset with nature as you take in the views.
Coffee shop available upon request for your event. The Coffee shop is decorated with antiques and vintage coffee grinders/makers sure to be conversation pieces. The whole lodge is filled with bits of history all around.
